Terms of Service

By accessing or using MotoTrader ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Platform.

MotoTrader is an online marketplace that connects car buyers, private sellers, and registered dealers in Nigeria. We provide a platform for listing, browsing, and purchasing cars, as well as access to car history reports. MotoTrader is not a party to any transaction between users.

You must create an account to list cars or purchase reports. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Providing accurate and truthful registration information

MotoTrader reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

Sellers agree that all listings must:

• Accurately describe the vehicle being sold
• Include truthful information about the car's condition, history, and mileage
• Not misrepresent the car's origin, customs status, or title
• Not list stolen vehicles

MotoTrader may remove any listing that violates these terms at its discretion, without refund of listing fees.

Listing fees are charged per listing or as part of a dealer subscription. All fees are non-refundable unless MotoTrader determines otherwise. Payments are processed via Paystack. By making a payment, you agree to Paystack's terms of service.

Current fees: Individual listing — ₦10,000. Dealer monthly subscription — ₦30,000/month. Dealer yearly subscription — ₦270,000/year.

History reports are sourced from third-party providers including NHTSA, VinAudit, and Nigerian customs data. MotoTrader does not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of report data. Reports are provided "as-is" for informational purposes and do not constitute a warranty of the vehicle.

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings
• Harass, threaten, or deceive other users
• Scrape or copy data from the Platform without permission
• Use the Platform for any illegal purpose
• Circumvent any security or authentication measures

MotoTrader is a marketplace platform and is not liable for disputes between buyers and sellers, the quality or condition of vehicles, fraudulent transactions between users, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Use the Platform at your own risk.

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email.
